“五年一小打，八年一大打”，是美国对战争的基本态度。
受此影响，世界人民都知道了一个颠扑不破的真理：美国每一任总统都会发动战争。
美国人为何喜欢发动战争？与之截然相反的是，同为世界大国的中国，为何如此厌恶战争？
对此，外国网友们有自己的看法：
1、Ray
“Economic substructure determines political superstructure”. China’s economy relies on export, which requires the stability of the rest of the world so that it can buy and buy and buy. Thus going to any war will not serve the interest of the vast majority of Chinese.

Only in the country where economic substructure has a strong interest to destabilize other countries and everything out there is categorized into black or white, friend or enemy, then it will definitely be eager to be in endless wars and conflicts trying to shoot the missiles before they expire.

But there are always exceptions ,It is justifiable for self-defense.

2、Chien-Sheng Tsai
The Art of War attributed to Sun Tzu. One does not conduct war for the sake of war.

China had endured war, and was formed through thousands of years of war, and faced two recent devastating wars (SJW2 & Civil War), after over a century of humiliation by foreign powers, due to the corruption of the Qin Dynasty, which resulted in the inability to prevail in war. Thus China, in the collective, certainly knows the subject of war, perhaps better than others.

America is a young country with the hubris of the young, having known only one civil war. Russia and China are old countries that have gone through thousands of years of war, particularly the Chinese.

As Sun Tzu stated, war is a serious matter, only to be undertaken as the last resort, upon serious deliberation. Thus China does not conduct wars frivolously, as with shock & awe, or threatened fire & fury, or beating up on little countries and interfering in their internal affairs.

The USA is a war and war mongering country, engaged in almost perpetual war, and that has become the twisted manifestation of its glory. Ironically, America, the land of the free, where democracy is supposed to dwell and all men are created equal, does not understand that Might does not equal Right, and that only Justice does, and that unless Justice prevails, there will never be Peace, which, as a proposition, is more constructive than War, even for its own people.

Fundamentally, the political sphere of each nation is in diametric opposition to one another, where one sees mutual benefit (China), the other sees zero sum (America).

Individual citizens in each country are not so different, very few want conflict, and most are content with doin’ a little shopping, having a BBQ and living a normal life… I think the biggest difference is how each side regards the metaphysical, thereby rendering Western Imperialism vastly different from China''s tributary system in the past.

China is aware that war can cause chaos, death, loss, destruction, pain, and have a huge negative impact on everyone concerned, while much younger countries seem to believe that violence, attack, invasion, murder, war and so on can bring positive results. However, this is never true, because every attack will produce an enemy, who will beat you to death with open or secret attacks.

Keeping this in mind, you can understand why the US is currently engaged in 7 conflicts, all undeclared wars - Niger, Sudan, Syria, Lybia, Afghanistan, Somalia and Yemen.These countries are NOT in conflict with the US, they are in the fight for simply being neutral but having valuable resources. This already is a SIN according to the US.

The “correct” action according to Western values, would be for these nations to be on America''s side. Remaining unaligned is already a sin.Put it this way, in this trade war with China, other countries are FORCED to take sides.

China NEVER once asked other countries to stop using American products or services, yet this etiquette and grace of not attacking an individual private company as a nation, bears no moral hindrance for America.

In essence, it is a big a$$ adult bully, going to kindergarten and getting the other kids to ostracise one child! This is morally reprehensible, and is the pathology of a tyrannical ego so extreme, that it sees NOTHING wrong with this.
